Olivia
The “Olivia” dinnerware set is simple and elegant. This collection integrates many things I have wanted to incorporate in a dinnerware set. First of all, the clean, minimal angularity touches my architectural past and my love of all things simple. And the details of color, texture and design reflect the more complex, nuanced sides of me. Lastly, the shape! I have always thought it would be great to have dinnerware that tapers in at the top rim allowing for the ease of enjoying the last bits of food or drops of drink. Here, the proportions allow for the experience to feel delicate as well, but the actual volume of these pieces is substantial.
Named after my step-daughter, Olivia. Being in the water is one of her favorite things - and I can imagine her dipping into these dreamy blue bowls. These pieces are beautiful and delicate but a bit edgy and goth. Don’t let her pretty face fool you - she’s pretty bad ass.
